Uckfield Lions fete suffers in the rain

Uckfield Lions fete suffered in the rain on Sunday.

Few turned out for the event but a band, The Yum Yums, entertained and stallholders remained cheerful during the afternoon./images/2011_june/lions_fete_2.jpg

Two girls can be seen above enjoying candy floss while on the right are Uckfield Mayor Cllr John Carvey with Lions president Lynne Ireland both sheltering under umbrellas.

In our other pictures taken by Ron Hill are members of the Leos Club manning a Human Fruit Machine and offering face painting and members of The Yum Yums.
