Uckfield Rugby Club gets RFU seal of approval
Uckfield Rugby Club is the tops – and that’s official.
The RFU Seal of Approval was presented to the club by the former President of the RFU, Bob Rogers, and current President of Sussex RFU, Peter Bailey.
The accreditation recognises the standard of rugby provision by Uckfield RFC from Under 6 up to Under 18 in terms of ensuring the quality of the facilities and coaching, and above all the safety of the children.
The visiting dignitaries were welcomed to the club’s presentation day for the mini and junior section by president Peter Reeves.
The award was presented to club captain Robbie Cannon, who led the team responsible for producing the evidence file which proved that Uckfield RFC met the required standards set by the RFU.
