More than £2,500 raised at St Philip's Christmas fair in Uckfield
More than £2,500 was raised at a Christmas fair at St Philip's School in Uckfield. The money will be shared equally between the school and the Catholic church.
Father Christmas and his Elves handed out presents to younger children while staff ran a Secret Santa Shop where children could choose small gifts for their parents which were wrapped for them, ready for the big day.
Year Six children represented the pupils with a cake decorating stall, a tombola, a book stall and a competition to guess the name of a talking dog.
Headteacher Fran Morrison said: "I am very grateful to all those who put so much effort into the fair. Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time and he day was a great success."
Thanks to Ron Hill for the photographs.
